What to expect during camp week
Each camp is four mornings, three hours each, for a total of 12 hours of hands-on making. Kids don't need any prior experience. Our instructors introduce every technique from the ground up. Campers will work in clay, learn basic hand-building methods like slab construction, coiling, and pinching, and experiment with texture and surface decoration.
Projects are finished and fired, so each child leaves the week with ceramic pieces they made themselves.
All camps run Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at our studio at 505 W Mary St, Austin, TX 78704. Dress for mess, clay is messy. All materials are included in the $320 camp fee. Ages 9 and up.
